Free Form6/21/2007 ShareSome family sessions work out great with posed pictures. Some are best with both posed and free form. This little boy, almost 2, wasn't up for any posing. He wanted to roam! So off we went on a hike to explore Evergreen Lake on a beautiful June afternoon in a truly free form session. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Add or View Comments(1)
Going to Alaska!6/9/2007 ShareI'm planning a portrait session work trip to Kodiak, Alaska from August 9-16. Woohoo! If you live in Kodiak or are visiting at that time, please contact me soon to reserve your session. :-) Add or View Comments(0)
Playing with the light6/6/2007 Share![]() ![]() This little 2 1/2 year old fellow decided to skip his nap this day. But you would never know it! He was full of smiles and energy the whole session. I worked hard to keep up with him and we had a bunch of fun. Towards the end of this session at an old historic schoolhouse, the sun peeked around the corner and I got some neat backlit shots. To Blog or Not to Blog4/30/2007 Share Greetings! I just couldn't resist any more. I had to have a blog for Kids Being Kids Portraits - an opportunity to celebrate my sessions with the public. Each session is so unique, so special, and so precious in its own way. It will be incredibly fun for me to share and hopefully fun for you as well.
I wanted to start with this storyboard. This expressive child from Alaska is such a joy. This was her second session with me. The quote on this storyboard is so applicable to children as well as photographers - I just love it and try to conduct my sessions with this quote in mind. "Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the things you can think up if only you try!" Dr. Seuss Add or View Comments(0)
